The restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere, the service was a bit long, but still good, and the food was very tasty. I had some home fries, and the portions from the sides menu was ample enough to be a small meal, good quality for the price.

So the portions were just right for satisfying an appetite, however for the price it was a bit small. Coffee which is normally 2 bucks at cafes across the area were 3.40 at this location. I only have one glass, so that was a bit up there for a plain drip brew coffee. The food flavor was great, nothing can be improved for what was served. Kudos to the cook for the well made food. The pie display that used to be in front no longer works and is in pieces. I didn't even ask if they had pies. Just seeing the display looking like that made it sad to think of. The location looks the same as it did 5 years ago. No updates, improvements or changes of any kind it seems.

Lorene’s has been here for some time. In the past I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. It has always been pretty good food. Currently they only are open for Breakfast and Lunch.I ordered the breakfast sampler plate. Comes with bacon , hot link, eggs any style, hash browns and French toast. It was really good, couldn’t eat it all. The only thing disappointing was the French toast wasn’t very warm, nevertheless, I ate it.Kathy, my waitress did a wonderful job, she was a pleasure.

The food and service was amazing. I got greeted right away and didn’t wait long at all for a waitress. The food came out pretty quick! A nice, old fashion place to eat.

My mother and I went to this restaurant 2 days ago food was great I had steak and eggs she had a spinach omelet. Mom and pop type of vibe but enjoyed the food very much

Garden skillet, biscuits and gravy. Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff. This is a great place to stop for a meal.

This was my first time at Lorene's. I had a fantastic vegetarian sandwich, fries, and iced tea. Our waitress was excellent. My friend and I had such a great time. Unfortunately, we didn't know they close mid-afternoon. I think we held them up from closing but they were as gracious as could be. I will definitely go back.
